WHO WE ARE....

SJRA is the premier youth rodeo association for contestants ages five (5) to nineteen (19).  The organization is divided into three (3) division: Juniors (ages 5-10), Seniors (ages 11-14) and High School (ages 14-19).  Please refer to the membership page for additional information on age brackets and qualifications.

Rodeo season starts in September and runs through April culminating with finals rodeo in May.  Members may join at any time. Throughout the year, contestants enjoy pay-outs in each event  and at finals, the top contestants in each age division are rewarded with over $170,000 in prizes and cash awards. After finals, SJRA sends the top 3 High School Division Winners as "Team SJRA" to Shawnee, OK for the IFYRA annual rodeo where they compete on a national level.  These winners receive both prize and travel money.

SJRA draws some of the best competitors from Florida and Georgia.  It is a family oriented association offering youth riders the opportunity to compete in rodeo events while developing good sportsmanship and character with a high emphasis on education .  Competing in SJRA prepares the contestants for the next level of rodeo.
