SJRA is the premier youth rodeo association for contestants ages five (5) to nineteen (19).  The organization is divided into three (3) division: Juniors (ages 5-10), Seniors (ages 11-14) and High School (ages 14-19).  Please refer to the membership page for additional information on age brackets and qualifications.


Rodeo season starts in September and runs through April culminating with finals rodeo in May.  Members may join at any time. Throughout the year, contestants enjoy pay-outs in each event  and at finals, the top contestants in each age division are rewarded with over $170,000 in prizes and cash awards. After finals, SJRA sends the top 3 High School Division Winners as "Team SJRA" to Shawnee, OK for the IFYRA annual rodeo where they compete on a national level.  These winners receive both prize and travel money.


SJRA draws some of the best competitors from Florida and Georgia.  It is a family oriented association offering youth riders the opportunity to compete in rodeo events while developing good sportsmanship and character with a high emphasis on education .  Competing in SJRA prepares the contestants for the next level of rodeo.

  • FL people - don't forget your coggins and health certs.
  • Stall / Hook-up
  • Stalls are required - $20/nt or $40 for weekend - all fees due at registration
  • Stalls do not have shavings.  Bring own or buy on-site
  • All Friday night stalls should be vacated by 12n.
  • Please clean your stall out before you leave so the person behind you has a clean stall on arrival.
  • Do not change stall
  • Hook-up available - $60 for 30 amp; $80 for 50 amp per weekend - all fees due at registration. Hook-ups are not required.
  • Pricing is per weekend.  You may look at the list and see if you can pair up with another member to reduce your cost.
  • FINAL LIST of hook up requests.  You may add on-site if needed.
  • Hook-ups do not have assigned numbers - they are listed on the form with numbers so I could count them.  30amp requests should park on the south or West side of arena.  50amp requests should park on north side of arena by the brick retaining wall.  There are 80 hookups so we can spread out.
